Slow Food Blue Mountains

Plastic Free Blue Mountains

Let's make the Blue Mountains Plastic Free!

In Australia, we use 4 billion plastic bags a year.

We live in the pristine surrounds of our blue mountains national park, which is threatened by the use and careless disposal of plastic bags, drinking cups and straws.

Let’s follow the lead of other Australian states that ban the single use plastic bag - Tasmania, ACT, South Australia and Northern Territory, and ban all single use plastic bags in the blue mountains.  A small change makes a big difference.
